‘‘Can a bobcat do the job"
Q Weve discovered some large stones in the garden.
They are embedded in the ground. Some are only a
few inches above ground and several are about 2 feet
above ground.
Im looking for the least expensive option to clear the
stones. I also considered chipping away at the stones until
they were about 8" below ground, then over-filling with soil
and growing grass.
What type of tool could I use to break up the stones?
Would a hydraulic concrete hammer work or would a Bobcat
do the job? Who do I contact?K Joseph
A Contact any of the machinery companies on this website. They can rent you a bobcat
that has a jackhammer on it. This would be much faster than
a standard jackhammer.
Typically the stones go deeper and are larger than you think so
digging them could be a much harder task than breaking them.
